WESTDOWN ANGEL COTTAGE OVERVIEW

Get away from it all in the wonderful peace and quiet of West Down, nr Woolacombe, set in the rolling Devon hills. Angel Cottage is the perfect escape yet is only a very short-drive to the popular village of Woolacombe with its golden sand award winning Blue Flag beach.

LIVING AREAS

A warm inviting lounge area with wood burner provide great comfort in this intimate low beamed room where you can relax and unwind. The fully functioning wood burner is, without doubt, the focal point providing cosy warmth in winter and summer. There is a TV with DVD player. Off the lounge and into the inner hallway is a good selection of board games, jigsaws, books and DVDs is provided for your entertainment. Additional entertainment can also be found in the second lounge area equipped with a full size table tennis table to help pass the time during the evenings or on those rainy days!...

KITCHEN / DINER

The warm and welcoming wood-burning stove is the centerpiece of this kitchen / diner. A large very well-equipped kitchen / diner has an extensive range of cream coloured solid wood cupboards and drawers. This modern contemporary kitchen has all the conveniences you would expect, including fridge/freezer, hob, oven and grill, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, washing machine, toaster and a plentiful supply of utensils. Cutlery & Crockery (including children’s) is supplied. This superb social space means that no one need be excluded from the holiday atmosphere. The dining table easily accommodates 8.

BEDROOMS

Angel Cottages benefits from 2 downstairs bedrooms and 2 upstairs bedrooms comprising:

Bedroom 1: (Master Bedroom with en-suite). A wonderful spacious room located on the ground floor with high beamed ceiling, wooden flooring, a stunning super-king bed, bedside table and lamp with a chest of drawers for storage. This spacious master bedroom is a single aspect room with double patio doors that lead out to the rear garden area.The bedroom has its own en-suite.

Bedroom 2: (Double Bedroom). Off the hallway on the ground-floor is another Double Bedroom with double-bed, chest of drawers and feature stone fireplace. This is a single aspect room with a window to the front aspect of the property.

Bedroom 3: (Twin Bedroom). A good sized twin-bedroom (zip & link, can be made up as double if requested). This is a bright single aspect room with a large window, overlooking the front of the property.

Bedroom 4: (Bunk Beds). This is a good sized bedroom overlooking the rear of the property an ideal children’s room with white wooden bunk beds.

BATHROOMS

Master En-suite: Off the Master Bedroom is modern en-suite shower room, with WC, a wash hand basin and separate corner shower enclosure.

Family Bathroom: The good sized family bathroom is on the ground floor with large bath and shower over, WC, hand basin and towel rail.

OUTDOORS

Angel Cottage is set in a pleasant enclosed garden with glorious views of the surrounding countryside, mostly laid to lawn, with flower and shrub borders. There is a small patio area off the kitchen, garden furniture is thoughtfully provided coupled with the warmth and comfort of a chimnea to help with that ‘al fresco’ dining. Parking is available outside of the property and will easily provide parking for 3 cars.

West Down is a pleasant village, set about four miles inland from the North Devon coast. Just a short drive away from Woolacombe and its long blue-flag sandy beach. Croyde and Putsborough are just a few more minutes away, very popular with surfers and families. From the village of West Down there are numerous footpaths to the surrounding Devon countryside.
