If you enjoy cycling or walking, the renowned Tarka trail can be accessed from the village and this follows the Taw and Torridge estuaries. Ideal base for dog walkers and ramblers. This home from home is perfect for families, groups of friends and weekend surf breaks.

The spacious living room has 2 x 3 seater sofa’s seats 6 people comfortably (ideal for visiting friends). Facilities include a flatscreen LCD TV, Freeview, DVD/Blue Ray player, DVD selection, iPod/Radio docking station, inclusive WiFi access, and a selection of books and board games. A wall mounted modern electric fireplace will keep you warm and cosy on winter evenings. A wooden dining table seats 4 people, and overlooks the garden.
The kitchen provides all you could need for a relaxing holiday. Equipment includes: fridge, oven, hob, grill, microwave, toaster, kettle, slimline dishwasher, washing machine as well as a good selection of pots, pans, cutlery and crockery. There is also a handy breakfast bar with 2 bar stools.
Bedroom 1: Double bedroom with double bed, bedside tables and reading lamps, wardrobe, chest of drawers and dressing table also with drawers, and an occasional chair.
Bedroom 2: Twin bedroom. 2 single beds (could make large double), bedside chest with reading lamp, single wardrobe, chest of drawers.
The contemporary bathroom contains a shower, bath, wash basin, WC, airing cupboard, wall heater, and shaver point. Bath towels, hand towels and flannels are kindly provided.
Outside you will find a neat and tidy partially divided and enclosed lawned garden for your own private use, accessed from the lounge through large patio doors. You will also find an electric awning, patio table with parasol and 4 chairs, and a coal BBQ. Enjoy panoramic views of Braunton Burrows while you BBQ on summer evenings.
There is parking for 2 cars on the driveway and security lights.

WALK TO - Right on the South West Coast Path, Braunton and surrounds is a great place for days out with family and friends. Whether you choose to stroll along the relatively moderate terrain of Braunton Burrows or Saunton Sands or venture on to the more demanding lengths of the coast path you will find something to suit all abilities. After working up an appetite and thirst, a short level stroll into the village will reveal many local restaurants and pubs offering a superb variety of food and entertainment. Squires, famous for great fish and chips, At One (Tapas Evenings), The George Pub (great local food as well as Thai Cuisine) and The Williams Arms (well renowned Sunday roasts).
CYCLE TO - As well as a labyrinth of footpaths, bridleways and country lanes to explore access to the Tarka Trail is close by and opens up over 30 miles of old railway track bed. Mostly tarmacked and totally traffic free the trail passes through largely unspoilt countryside and woodland (as it was described by Henry Williamson in his classic novel ‘Tarka the Otter’ first published in 1927), the trail also offers a glimpse of railway history with the old stations and signal boxes remaining, most have been refurbished and put to other public use such as cafes, museums or shops.
DRIVE TO - the beaches of Saunton, Croyde, Putsborough and Woolacombe are only a short drive away. A day at historic Braunton Burrows is great for walkers. Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, The Milky Way and The Big Sheep all within a short driving distance. For the more adventurous, kite surfing, surfing, horse riding and kayaking are popular sports in the area. Cultural days can be passed at Arlington Court, historic Clovelly Village, Watermouth Castle, Lynton, Lynmouth and many more. Saunton Golf Course is a mere 3 miles down the road with its 2 famous links courses. Finally, picturesque walks through beautiful forested areas and running rivers such as at Watersmeet will complete your wonderful stay in the beautiful part of England.
