Located in a quiet part of Braunton away from the main road, you will only be a short stroll from the local shops, restaurants, pubs, and bustling village life. If you enjoy cycling, the renowned Tarka trail can be accessed from the village and this follows the Taw and Torridge estuaries. This home from home is perfect for families, groups of friends and weekend surf breaks.
The spacious living room seats 5 people comfortably, with pretty rural views and great home entertainment! Facilities include a flatscreen TV, Freeview, DVD player, DVD selection, iPod docking station, inclusive WiFi access, a Wii games console and games, CD player and a selection of books and board games. A modern coal effect gas fireplace will keep you warm and cosy on winter evenings. A dining table seats up to 6 people. with extra chairs stored in the garage. A high chair is provided. Two additional people can be accommodated informally using a quality sofa bed in the lounge.
This very well equipped kitchen provides all you could need for a relaxing holiday. Equipment includes: fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, electric hob, grill, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, cafetiere, as well as a good selection of pots, pans, cutlery and crockery.
Bedroom 1: Double bedroom with gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside, and a fitted double mirrored wardrobe with ample storage/hanging space.
Bedroom 2: Twin bedroom with freestanding double wardrobe.
A travel cot is provided.
The bathroom has been recently refitted with quality fittings. There is a contemporary bath with shower overhead, wash basin and WC. Bath towels are kindly provided.
Outside you will find a neat and tidy landscaped garden with a very private suntrap patio. A table, 6 chairs and parasol are provided for lunch and BBQs outdoors in the sun. A BBQ is provided. Sun loungers are also provided for relaxing in the sunshine with a good book. The garden is completely enclosed making it very family-friendly.
There is plenty of parking on the driveway, for up to 4 cars. The garage is also available for guests to store bikes, surf and beach gear.
For your convenience, (while at your own risk), the owner provides 5 bicycles for your enjoyment; (including 2 x men's, 2 x ladies', 1 x teenage size bike). In addition to the bicycles, there is also a really useful attachment that allows a child to ride in tandem with the parent so that the whole family can enjoy cycling together. These facilities are provided completely free of charge and the owners cannot take responsibility for the condition of the bikes, nor for any liability whilst guests are using them.

WALK TO - Right on the South West Coast Path, Braunton and surrounds is a great place for days out with family and friends. Whether you choose to stroll along the relatively moderate terrain of Braunton Burrows or Saunton Sands or venture on to the more demanding lengths of the coast path you will find something to suit all abilities. After working up an appetite and thirst, a short level stroll into the village will reveal many local restaurants and pubs offering a superb variety of food and entertainment. Squires, famous for great fish and chips, At One (Tapas Evenings), The George Pub (great local food as well as Thai Cuisine) and The Williams Arms (well renowned Sunday roasts).
CYCLE TO - As well as a labyrinth of footpaths, bridleways and country lanes to explore access to the Tarka Trail is close by and opens up over 30 miles of old railway track bed. Mostly tarmacked and totally traffic free the trail passes through largely unspoilt countryside and woodland (as it was described by Henry Williamson in his classic novel ‘Tarka the Otter’ first published in 1927), the trail also offers a glimpse of railway history with the old stations and signal boxes remaining, most have been refurbished and put to other public use such as cafes, museums or shops.
DRIVE TO - the beaches of Saunton, Croyde, Putsborough and Woolacombe are only a short drive away. A day at historic Braunton Burrows is great for walkers. Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, The Milky Way and The Big Sheep all within a short driving distance. For the more adventurous, kite surfing, surfing, horse riding and kayaking are popular sports in the area. Cultural days can be passed at Arlington Court, historic Clovelly Village, Watermouth Castle, Lynton, Lynmouth and many more. Saunton Golf Course is a mere 3 miles down the road with its 2 famous links courses. Finally, picturesque walks through beautiful forested areas and running rivers such as at Watersmeet will complete your wonderful stay in the beautiful part of England.
