CROYDE OCEAN TIDE OVERVIEW
Located in Lane Head Close, this contemporary holiday home is just a stone’s throw from the beach, and a 5 minute walk to the local shops and fantastic pubs. There are 3 bedrooms, sleeping 6 people, but 8 can be accommodated with use of a double sleeper sofa in the lounge. Off-street parking is available for 3 cars and there is a large private garden with raised deck, ideal for BBQs and soaking up the sun. Putsborough, Saunton and Woolacombe beaches are all a short car ride away. This pet-friendly holiday bungalow is bright and airy, perfect for family holidays or surfing weekends.
All accommodation is located on the ground floor in this contemporary bungalow.
The large living room contains two comfortable sofas, one of which is a sofa bed (allowing 2 extra people to sleep at the property informally, please bring your own linen).
A coal-effect gas fire will be great on cooler evenings. Entertainment is provided by the flatscreen TV with Freeview, DVD player, VHS player, CD player, inclusive WiFi internet access, book and board game selection and children’s toy box. For your convenience, wi-fi use is inclusive.
The kitchen is modern with light wood cupboards and a laminate wood floor. Appliances include a tall fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven, grill, ceramic hob, toaster, kettle and a cafetiere, as well as a good supply of pots, pans, crockery and cutlery.

The other side of the room has a comfortable sofa and a dining table seating 6 people with a TV, CD & VHS and sound system. This creates a very sociable open plan kitchen and second lounge/dining
space with large sliding picture windows to the garden.
A high chair is kindly provided.
Bedroom 1: Double bed. A dressing table, large built-in wardrobe and bedside tables provide plenty of storage space. The large window (with blind) make this room bright and airy.
Bedroom 2: Twin beds. Built-in wardrobes, a large chest of drawers and bedside table provide storage space.
Bedroom 3: Wooden bunk beds. The window lets in plenty of light and a small chest of drawers and bedside cabinet provide storage space. There is also a Freeview TV with USB port; perfect for entertaining the kids.
Bed linen and a travel cot are thoughtfully supplied.
The sofa bed in the dining area can sleep 2 extra people, please bring your own bed linen should you wish to use this.
The family bathroom contains a bath with shower overhead. There is a separate WC with hand basin. Bath towels are provided.
At the front of the property is a lawn and a large raised decked area where you can see the ocean over the rooftops of Croyde and the beautiful surrounding countryside.
Relax at the table with 6 chairs for an evening meal or drinks.
To the rear of the property is a large, well kept enclosed secure and private enclosed lawn with garden bench, swing seat, garden table with 6 chairs, patio table and rear decked area.
This is a great area to kick a ball around in the sun or let your dog run around or to soak up the sun on one of the 6 sun loungers provided.
There is a useful washing line for drying clothes.
There is off-road parking for 3 cars.

Rock pools are in abundance and dunes a haven for young and intrepid explorers. Local fun parks for the children such as Cascades Pool Park are a great way to spend the day. Croyde Bay is renowned as a premier surfing beach destination in England for short and long boards. For the more adventurous, kite surfing, volley ball, kayaking and horse riding is on your doorstep. Within walking distance of Croyde beach enjoy its ice cream shop, gourmet restaurants, superb village pubs, surf shops, and art gallery. This classic 'chocolate-box' village is steeped in old-world charm and echoes the feeling of life in Britain in times gone by. Coastal and Countryside walks include the majestic Croyde cliff path to Baggy Point, (and for those energetic), to Woolacombe and beyond.
CYCLE TO - A day at historic Braunton Burrows is great. Cyclists can enjoy the 30-mile Tarka Trail tracking the scenic coastline of North Devon.
DRIVE TO – explore the beautiful Exmoor National Park. Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, The Milky Way and The Big Sheep all within a short driving distance. Cultural days can be passed at Arlington Court, historic Clovelly Village, Watermouth Castle, Lynton, Lynmouth, Victorian-styled Ilfracombe with its quaint fishing harbour and many more. Saunton Golf Course is a mere 3 miles down the road with its 2 famous links courses. Finally, picturesque walks through beautiful forested areas and running rivers such as at Watersmeet will complete your wonderful stay in this beautiful part of England.
